If you're like me, chances are you saw Mark's tweet this morning and scratched your head for a moment. Mark's tweet had a semi-cryptic message letting interested software developers know where they can send their information to be considered for a role with hotels.ng.

Around this time last year, hotels.ng raised $1.2 million from Omidyar Network, the investment vehicle of eBay founder Pierre Omidyar, and EchoVC Pan-Africa Fund, a seed-stage technology fund. Mark has said the main reason for this round is to invest further in the startup's technology and facilitate expansion into Ghana and French West Africa.

As startups look to grow, they tend to offer employees great responsibility, value employee input more than a larger organization, and provide employees with experience that is very hard to come by otherwise.

So, if you're a rockstar freelancer who "wants a steady pay check every month"as Mark put it, but even more, want to be a part of something disruptive, decode the ROT13 message and send your information. I will say the benefits of climbing aboard the hotels.ng expansion train could be quite exhilarating right now.
