Nigerian online hotel booking site HotelNowNow has introduced a range of new features and services as part of a brand relaunch.
Launched in 2014, HotelNowNow provides group corporate and consumer clients with accommodation options in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
Its brand relaunch campaign- which kicked off with the slogan “Why Pay More” – features a television campaign, with the company having made a strategic decision to focus the initial efforts on the hospitality industry in Nigeria.
New features include the HotelNowNow Morewardz Loyalty programme, which allows customers to acquire loyalty points for every booking made on the site. Beneficiaries get a loyalty card that also doubles as a charge card, and can be used both to redeem points in the loyalty programme and to make regular transactions.
The startup has also introduced a new package designed to aid organisations with easily securing corporate reservations for rooms and meeting rooms. HotelNowNow’s Corporate Edge Package lets companies and organisations leverage on partnerships struck by the startup to get even better deals on individual or group bookings.
HotelNowNow chief sales and commercial officer Okey Ochulo said the company had been working hard to understand the current business and consumer needs in the Nigerian hospitality sector and translate these findings into features and offerings.
“As part of the relaunch, the brand has introduced a new website that is more intuitive and user friendly. As a result of the changes implemented, users of the platform are empowered to easily locate the best possible hotel deals,” he said.
“With thousands of prescreened hotels to choose from and the top weekly deals highlighted, every visitor to the site would definitely find a hotel to meet their unique needs.”
Ochulo said the relaunch affirmed the confidence HotelNowNow has in the growth potential of the hospitality sector in Africa.
“We are pleased that we can deliver a one-of-a-kind portal that provides the best hotel deals at top notch convenience to our customers,” he said.
